The series of illustrations was created for the music video of the same title, He Crossed the Mountains Before Sunrise. To emphasizes the protagonist's oscillation between hope and despair, depicting his struggle, I deliberately highlighted the correspondence between scenes, distinguishing the golden moments representing happiness and hope from the shattered sadness portrayed in blue. These contrasts were interwoven and juxtaposed throughout a series of images. Additionally, The silhouette of the protagonist lying on the ground was also incorporated into the shadow that envelops him and the mountains he is about to climb. These three similar geometric shapes recur throughout the music video, ensuring visual coherence while symbolizing the protagonist's journey of overcoming past traumas despite being constantly overshadowed by them.
